mods, please delete the other thread.

inflation & interest rates all going bonkers. Affordability is stretched , especially as energy prices have gone Loco.

The World property market seems to be nothing short of insane at the moment.

where will it all end ?
who are the winners & losers ?

are policymakers in control or is it all hurtling out of control ?
What lessons from history ?

where will tomorrow be taking house prices ?

etc etc

discuss

Bring back Lenin.

'No more than 9% from a workers net pay, to be spent on rent'.

See LB News (Lenin Broadcasting}.

A young couple wanting their first home could wait until middle-age at present, so much for capitalism.

Housing should allocated according to need.

The only exception, on the Planet, seems to be Spain.

Brexit has crucified its property market....in relative terms. All the Brits selling up and getting out. Off to Turkey/Morocco/The Cotswolds or elsewhere ?

You mean they had to pay rent for their cells in the
Lubyanka?

The peninsula prices have dropped a lot but the Canaries haven't, UK owners are selling through problems of the residency criteria and renting private property being investigated by non-payment of Tax, but The Irish, Netherlands, Italians and French are buying

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

Brexit?

Not shutting down the UK economy for 2 years, printing half a trillion pounds (on top of all the other money printing) to debase the currency, destroying hundreds of thousands of UK businesses, destroying supply chains (this happened all over the world) and locking down the Chinese factories which makes virtually everything we consume? (supply side inflation)

You think destroying the middle class has no significant relationship with property prices?

Not to mention you posted a link that says this is a global problem but then blame Brexit.

the levels of indifference to this topic, on here, is quite surprising.....

This next crash is going to hurt. Especially in any big wealthy cities.
