Is that Smith Rowe? I thought Villa were buying him? Still if Arsenal want to keep him maybe a loan to us would be a better option?
One more point |

His manager at Huddersfield, Danny Cowley, said that Smith Rowe could find space in a telephone box. Edited by Willo (07 Jul 2021 6.08pm)

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Who is this Wheddsta on Twitter? Seems to be the source of a lot of Palace transfer gossip at the moment but I've seen nothing to suggest that he's any more in the know than any of the other frauds who pretend to be. Is there a reason to believe him?
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |

He is probably as reliable as anyone. However I believe the tweet was suggesting we had made a bid/loan bid. He was not overly optimistic

He was arguably one of Arsenal's best players last season, so why would they let him go, and secondly, why would he want to come to us? Also, if the papers are to be believed, Villa are set to place a third bid of £35 million for him and I can't see us spending that much on a midfielder. Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised to see someone arrive from Arsenal either permanently or on loan given Vieira's links to the club.
