Anyone got one?saw it advertised,looks pretty good,cooks a roast Chicken,roast beef etc. Thinking of getting one,thoughts.

I think if you are a student or someone in a bedsit without a proper kitchen these gadgets make sense, so does a microwave grill combi or a halogen oven. I bought a halogen oven for £35 because my cooker had broken and I was planning on a complete refit of the kitchen. It was brilliant and I still have it as a backup. Anyway my point is I have a fully functional kitchen so I don't understand why a Ninja one would be required.

Never knew what one was so had to Google it. Yeah, looks decent enough. I think just as important though is a juicer/blender. Smoothies ain't cheap but if you can make your own with fruits/veggies they're pretty cheap and healthy too. Better than the ones they sell in shops too cos you know they are made with fresh fruits/veggies. Important to stay healthy and get the old fruits and veg in the diet every day. As for Ninja foodie - yeah, looks good but I only had a glance but saw some book goes with it too so I guess that could be handy too and I've heard people saying how great these food processors are so yeah, worth a look. We got a Ninja when our oven broke. Watch out for what size you need. Ours only takes a maximum of a small/medium chicken or a 1 lb piece of beef. Enough for 4, just about. However, the cooking results (once you get the hang of it) are fantastic. With chicken it locks in the moisture, so the meat is succulent. Beef can be done so it's rare-ish in the middle or browned all the way through. A lot less mess washing up. No more trays and foil, and fat everywhere

I got one one on Monday from Amazon it’s a princess air fryer deluxe it’s got a rotisserie too and 3 levels for cooking and a spinning cage type thing for chips which come out brilliantly crisp and fresh in about 9 minutes I’m going to try steaks today

I bought a Philips "air fryer" a few years ago but couldn't get on with it as I didn't like the taste of the chips it cooked and I ended up giving it away and buying an old fashioned deep fat fryer which makes far nicer tasting chips but is a real pain to clean. Best of luck "air frying" steaks which is something that personally I wouldn't attempt as I can't see that it could seal the outside of the meat properly but please report back on how well it worked
