The idea of Dougie Freedman as manager clearly divides opinion among Palace fans. If tomorrow Steve announces his dream team of Dougie with Shaun as assistant and maybe Damo as cheerleader ( eh no I don’t mean as one of the Crystals more as a motivational coach) would you be happy? Answer Y or N

Why do you think that anyone would be happy at the prospect of a manager who has failed everywhere he has been and has never managed in the top league taking over with another failed manager as his assistant

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I was on the Holmesdale when Freedman was once our manager, jeez, just that once was too much. So, it's a big fat NO from me.

No, I thought we were a Premier league team with ambition to remain so for some time to come.
The sort of management team ,represented by those two is more the territory of a struggling lower league outfit. Sorry if that sounds disrespectful. But what has either done to suggest they could compete at any level of the league we are in? Personally I really do hope this kind of arrangement is not on the cards, if only because surely we would only go there if we haven’t got the where with all to continue to be totally competitive at this level.

I'll personally come down there and bundle him into a suitcase labelled "Bolton City - Poste Haste" if that happens.
And it's a long trip.

I know you want a yes or no but its not that simple . Yes because of the documentry , Steve said it was his fault for not trying harder to keep dougie and yes for the team he put together . Yes because he knows the team and the way Palace is run. Yes because he knows he made a huge mistake by leaving us and yes because him and Sean have palace in their blood . No because he left us mid season for what an extra 10k a year i dont know what it was and no for the same reason that he has Palace in his blood . No because he was motavated by money . No because he tried to poach coaching staff .should Steve have tried harder , i think he is trying to make excuses for Dougie . But at the end of the day i reckon they would do as good as anyone else . deffinatley better than Cooper . So Yes

I don’t see Nuno taking the job. Looks like Dyche is staying where he is. Who knows what Lampard wants. Howe would take us down. That leaves Cooper and Ismael and I think Dougie would do better than them. So I wouldn’t be too upset if it was him.

Oh and for the record Bolassie has lost his pace and I wouldn’t touch home with a barge pole!
