Agreed - I want to see a performance against what is a top NZ test team and for Joe Root to show he can captain, because I'm still not convinced.

An experimental England side altho Anderson & Beoad still going strong.

I feel a nurdle down to third man is indicated.

'Your tweets can come back to bite you'.

I'll say, and not quite cricket is it.

Hopefully his apology will be enough he was young and stupid.

The boys should really enjoy the land of the long white cloud. Our bro's are 'touchwood' virus free.
Most of Oz is in the same boat, except my much loved Victoria. We are riddled with it, 6 new cases Tuesday and 5 yesterday. and we are in lockdown for a week which has been extended for a further week. Blood pollies are the same the world over incompetent.

Last I looked NZ were 280-3 and England were scratching their heads in the sunshine, ambling down the pitch and offering little. I presume that hasn't changed.

Where would we be without Root.

And really good test match cricket.

It is usually Root as the pillar and the others chip in, so actually quite good they have got to 258 after he went cheaply.

NZ have a surplus of very good bowlers, I have a sneaky feeling about their batting line-up in this one, going for an England win as NZ bat last.

Definitely a result anyway.
