Brazilian striker who can score in the PL. What is not to like? It's not my money I'm spending!

Whereas before, every player we wanted was wanted by West Ham, we are now in the situation where every player we are after is wanted by West Ham and Leeds. If you were a player, and you had a choice between the three, where would you go? He'd be great for us but not happening if either Leeds or West Ham, or just about anybody else, put in a bid. We need your bargain basement type signing. Lundstrum springs to mind immediately. Not young, not skillful, but cheap.
We need to get them not so established. Flynn Downes would be the type if cheap enough. I heard Gallagher for 9 mil - which sounds cheap to me (and I'm not sure I believe it).

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

I have never seen Pereira play as a striker.
At WBA he has been deployed in midfield and he prefers to play centrally rather than out wide.
Can score from excellent free-kicks and works hard which sometimes goes unnoticed.

He'd be awesome, I'd love to see him, Zaha and Eze as an attacking midfield unit.

I can't see it though. We need at least 3 defenders to come in for which you'd need to put aside at least £25m unless we do our usual old, free signing summer of David Luiz, Ryan Bertrand etc.

Add this on and that's at least £55m with nothing coming in bar salary savings. Very unlike us in recent years.

26th January 2010 - Enter Administration
2nd May 2010 - D-Day 1 - Survival at Hillsborough
1st June 2010 - D-Day 2 - Survival at Lloyds
7th June 2010 - CPFC2010 exchange contracts.

It may be possible (theoretically) to get him if we use our loan options well. The rumour re Dragusin from Juve has resurfaced as a loan interest. We probably only NEED 2 new CBs including Dragusin (if we go for him and get him). If we get Dragusin we'd still have 2 PL loan options. It's a question where we choose to spend any transfer kitty. Having said all that I expect one of the bigger/more fashionable PL clubs to get Pereira ahead of us, sadly, but would like to see him come here.

I am quite sure the rumours mixing us in with other teams is just to clickbait all teams rather than just one. West Ham used to be in our league and have pushed on, Wolves are closer to us in premise, but are a better organised club and first team. I get your point though.

Brighton reportedly interested. Bissouma could be on way out.

Liverpool open to allowing Neco Williams to go on loan. We should be all over this as he is a RB

I suggested Neco Williams in a post the other day and had a conversation about him with fellow supporters only last night.
He is of course a right-back by trade but has also featured at left-back for Liverpool.
