What capitalist greed is actually doing:- Big banks’ trillion-dollar finance for fossil fuels ‘shocking’, says report. Coal, oil and gas firms have received $3.8tn in finance since the Paris climate deal in 2015.

It’s more along the lines of hedging your bets and spotting the opportunity to guarantee an exit or loosening of restrictions, or so we think/thought. Of course there’s an Element of risk involved and even more money could’ve been wasted. But the money never belongs to the government or cabinet and so much has been wasted anyway that it won’t be noticed in the decades of social programs and young people’s opportunities that will miss out.

Capitalist greed etc.? The vaccine program is being delivered by the state-run NHS, is it not? And the track and trace system derided as being useless, run by Serco etc. private consultants charging 6k a day, costing 37 billions? Our NHS staff receive a paltry 1% for their efforts. At least the scots value them better than we do, with 4%. 'Not much money around' - there is plenty for the tories chums.

Fine then the Scottish taxpayer should foot the bill. At the moment the SNP are just freeloading of the rest of the UK and aren't even being nice about it.
