Salmond = Joshua

SNP = Jericho

The Spectator = Trumpets and Shouting

George Galloway = The Narrator

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Are we going to comment on Wee Krankie yet?
For what it's worth I watched some of it yesterday and thought -
- She had a great memory when it suited her but an Arsene Wenger like memory when it was something she didn't like.
- When other peoples evidence didn't agree with her evidence she just said - "I don't want to cast aspersions" - meaning - they are lying and I am not.
She was massively let off the hook yesterday and will get away with this which would be dreadful.
Scotland is being run by a dictatorship now if she does!

Watching the news re Scottish politics, it struck me there’s something ‘fishy’ going on between Sturgeon and Salmon !!!

It seems every other day more witness' and evidence emerges and Sturgeon's denials are becoming more unbelievable.

Still the SNP faithful will no doubt ignore all that.

Meanwhile the EU are doing a grand job for Britain. I wonder how many SNP supporters still think it is a great idea to re-join. The EU the gift that keeps giving.

I am not reading much about it at the moment - is there much online as it all seems to have gone a bit quiet?
Panorama is doing a piece tonight but i won't watch that as I suspect they will big up Krankie and diss the Salmon!
I dislike the pair of them but desperately want to see her het her just rewards!

I don’t think you are on your own in that regard. She’s currently held in the same regard as Meghan Markle in my book.

The committee has found she misled Parliament. Not sure where this leaves her as the statement doesn’t include the word “knowingly” which may make a difference.

If she had come out and apologised stating that if she did mislead parliament, it certainly wasn't her intention (or words to that effect) then I think she would get away with it. Instead she and her team are going down the "world is against us" route which will work well with her hardcore supporters but probably wont with those more on the fence.

She's a politician and therefore will hate to either admit she did wrong or to lose any power.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Agreed. but I think this is a major mistake. Misleading Parliament is not a sacking offence you say sorry I misspoke and move on.

She and the tartan mafia have doubled down on an obvious lie so that her opponents are now digging deeper. It's always the cover up that gets you.

If she goes it is likely to be related to the more serious charges that Salmond has made about her witch hunt against him and manipulating the justice system and civil service.

Just like the EU she is in a hole and can't stop digging.

Should she resign? Then yes. Will she? I suspect not. She knows that it is s*** or bust time for her. Probably suspects that the peaks of the support for independence are passing her by now and knows that if she steps down, her entire political reason for being is gone.

She is a 100% political animal. And good with it. Never underestimate her. Scottish politics is f***ing toxic (and yes I am boring about that) and to rise to any prominent office in that hell-hole shows a nous that should always be respected.

If she does resign then it is because of something else lurking in the cupboard. Not this. And not because of outside pressure. A stab in the back is what is required. She cares nothing for any other kind of assault.
