Bonkers decision if true with another turn of the carousel for managerial success at a club with a relatively inexperienced group of young players combined with foreign stars learning to conform to the pace and style of Premiership football.

I think he only got the job in the first place because of Chelsea's transfer ban. Top Manager's expect a significant transfer kitty to be available.

He probably overachieved last season using the resources that he had. Now he's spent over £200m on players that aren't gelling or performing.

a big 'IF' all of that is true I wouldn't want him at Palace now as his management methods clearly need work to get the best out of players. Could be another FDB
