So 400,000 police files have been deleted, some connected with on-going trials of a very serious nature, trials that could now collapse! These included fingerprints, dna samples and arrest records. Kit Malthouse, CONservative policing minister, says we will try to not let it happen again! Is it time for Priti, CONservative home secretary to resign ? The repercussions of this will be huge, who knows how many guilty, dangerous criminals will be walking the streets up to no good, someone has to pay, could it be Priti?

Will be if they were deleted on her watch, even if she knew nothing about it. Wonder why they were deleted? Senior Officers/ MPs involved? Interesting if the grooming gang cases are involved. But like Saville being cozy with Senior Police, we will probably never know Edited by Spiderman (16 Jan 2021 5.42pm)

Just reading this, can’t believe there is not a way of retrieving them and surely DNA is not only stored on a computer file? Been watching Pembrokeshire Murders

Unless she was personally involved no. I would sack the civil servant who approved the design of the system that meant there was no backup for accidental deletions.

I just knew it was your thread CP. Anything to pop at HMG. Anyhow it happened as maintenance on the computer system was being carried out. More than likely it was backed up somewhere. No file ever disappears totally on anyones pc. That's how terrorists and kiddy fiddlers are found.

Indeed, or ulterior motive on people in high places, I"m trying to get Priti in the lapdancing club scene to be honest, and am trying any way i can to unseat her!

I don't believe in this knee jerk minister must resign. If that minister made a bad decision sure but most of the time the failures are by the civil servants at a much lower level. They should be accountable for their failures. I wonder how many civil servants end up with a knighthood whilst a minster is sacked for their mistake.
