Chris Wilder is a good football man and has an excellent managerial record ( look at what he did at Northampton)
We all know how tough this league is and the blades have had lots of things go against them this year which inevitably happens from time to time
I’m not sure how many players were not available today due to C19 but it seems a perfect storm for them.
There is little doubt they will be relegated now.
I hope the club hangs onto him and he can build again
The Championship is a tough competitive league and hard to get out of so who knows what will happen to them and Wilder.
They are certs for the Championship as are WBA
The last spot could be one of 4 clubs including us !
Let’s hope we limit the injuries/ get enough points to stay up / say thanks and good bye and release the old fellahs and bring through some youth blended with a few astute signings.

Sheffield now have zero chance of survival and it would be nice to keep the Toon well below us.

Newcastle were very disappointing.
Admittedly they went down to 10 men just before half-time but were dominant throughout that opening half.

Newcastle have not won in their last 7 games in the PL and cups and they have only scored 2 goals in those 7 games.
Saint-Maximin not being able to play has been a real loss for them.

Red card and a penalty go their way and they steal a result. They are still too negative.

Anyway. Sheffield United aren't the ones we need to worry about. They won't get the 17 points required to catch us up.

All 3 results went our way tonight. Let's hope for the same again tomorrow.
