Stupid question but I thought the government had stopped people being evicted for the duration?

Unless you have tenants some 12 months in areas with their rent,or are guilty of serious anti social behaviours, believe a ban on evictions is in place until the end of March.

Not happening yet will apparently take 6 months with the above section issued.

Alledgedly, there may be some *ahem* chaps on here, who, for a good drink, will be happy to 'help' you out.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

if you are having to go the legal route, make sure it is all in order. Some tenants know how to play the law, so it might get protracted and expensive. Be patient. "men with a van" is a useful back-up.

I disengage, I turn the page.

Too much at steak to any other than the legal route .Have contacted solicitor and know a lot of paperwork involved and will take time .But no idea of costs yet.But I do know everything favours the Tennant. Totally wrong .

Another route might be to contact the makers of "Can't Pay, We'll take it away"
They do evictions, and I'm sure they'll give monetary compensation.

Maybe burglars 2 or 3 times in a month.
Then the next month etc.
You could shut the water main off in the road then cut the top of the valve off.
Or shut the valve in the middle of the night and fill the hole with expanding foam or cement.
Not many people can survive without water!
Just saying.
The water board might not reinstate if they arnt paying the bill.
Alternatively put creepy crawlies through the letter box.
I would be an evil so and so and it's your property at the end of the day.
Why does it have to be legal. I doubt You will get your dough back.

Yes. I just downloaded a 6a and served it. As long as you did the GasSafe, How To Rent Guide and EPC. Also placed the deposit in a TDP scheme. If not it starts to get complex.
