How many kids were saved from being run over by the green cross code man. Big part of growing up in the 70's. The force was strong in this one RIP

I remember seeing him about the place when I was a kid. We all knew he was Darth Vader but still used to call him the Green Cross Code man. RIP.

If only they'd used his voice as Darth Vader.

"We've got the Millenium Falcon in the Traactoor beam"

His best work was as the Green Cross Code Man. I bet that saved loads of kids lives.

2020 has taken loads of my childhood heroes (and villains).

I disengage, I turn the page.

Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.

I relied on The Tufty Club for all my road safety advice.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham
