He won't have to pay any damages but the legal bills for both sides will be massive. As he's now officially branded as a wife-beater, his Hollywood career will now tank spectacularly so it's inevitable that he'll be living in much reduced circumstances from here on in. It's Oscar Wilde all over again although I suspect Oscar's works will have a greater chance of long-term durability than Depp's.

he's a sh*t actor, the only one of the 'modern' heart throbs who can act imho is Keanu Reeves - Depp, Pitt, De Caprio and Tom Cruise get girls' bums on seats but are boring limited actors, Ewan McGregor's got much more acting talent. This decision will perpetuate Depp as a public figure - it's a shame bcos he's not very interesting, coverage of him eats into Covid broadcasting time which is much more captivating.

I think that's a bit harsh to be fair. Di Caprio I think is an extremely talented actor. Yes I think he started out as just a bit of a heart throb for the ladies but has become a fine actor over the years. Not a big fan of Depp if I'm honest but thought he was very good in Donnie Brasco.. Worked very well with Pacino
