Essentially about how poor white working class boys are the least likely to go to University and how it has become almost a taboo to talk about it. I understand the sentiment but the fact that it is being even reported is a surprise. Essentially about how poor white working class boys are the least likely to go to University and how it has become almost a taboo to talk about it.

In an ideal world, I wouldn't want to differentiate societies groups on skin colour, but it seems the die has been cast, and there is no avoidance. If you are going to differentiate groups on skin colour, then it's only right to give some sort of balance (even if only 1 article every year on them privileged whities). Pleased they guy has set his sights high, and not on being a thieving toe-rag or drug dealer. Probably a fair few people of a more tanned complexion are also aiming for University. In an ideal world, I wouldn't want to differentiate societies groups on skin colour, but it seems the die has been cast, and there is no avoidance.
If you are going to differentiate groups on skin colour, then it's only right to give some sort of balance (even if only 1 article every year on them privileged whities).

There is racism in our society which needs to be dealt with, but the biggest issue young black kids have to face is poverty and crime that comes with it.

History should be taught in context. With British history being the baseline, but children should be taught the basics of what was going on elsewhere at the same time and be made aware of where it sits withing the understanding of science and technology breakthroughs such as Origin of the Species were made.

Basic economics should also be taught at a younger age.
