Papers are saying Palace and Southampton are interested in him....He would keep our physio busy at least.

Touch my coffee and I will slap you so hard even Google won't be able to find you.

Isn't our physio already overworked with all our existing old crocks?

Also Dazza says (If you believe him and I do) that the rumours that we're after Welbeck are rubbish. We are looking elsewhere.

Yep can certainly remember some on here saying to give Ings a massive swerve before he went to Southampton!!

Bit like I remember when we were APPARENTLY in for Van Djik when he was at Celtic and some on here saying he wasn't good enough for the Prem!!

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

To be honest I would rather we went in for Callum Wilson. The wages will not be too dissimilar, he is still only 28 and despite a bad season last year and he averaged around 10 goals a season over the last four years. I can't help but think that the way we play will change and it will help having a striker like him up front.

Apparently Spurs are after him? Maybe just agent talk.

Callum Wilson, like Welbeck, has had his shares of very bad injuries.

These are good player but considering how much they cost and the aaries thet'd have and that one more injury could be career ending, the 2 are not good bets.

If Spurs are indeed after him them maybe not. However he will need to decide whether he wants to play or be on the bench so that maybe a reason to move to a different club. (One can hope :-))

My boss who is a Watford STH says he is not good enough and that is why they have used him as a substitute only.

On Wellbeck. No thank you. Too old. Too crook. Potentially too expensive, based on our needs elsewhere. I'd rather Wilson, but then there must be a reason no clubs have attempted to buy him before now if injuries are also a problem. I think the Spurs link is just cover for Harry Kane as they were poor without him last season.
