BBC website [Link] again, I don't think distinguishing people on skin colour is helpful. Ever. Yes, $hIt happened, but when you tear down slave traders statues, the response of putting up other statues bases on skin-colour is not productive. Just my opinion. I think it's divisive. The point is the absurd doublethink of condemning judging people by the colour of their skin and then highlighting someone because of the colour of their skin.

It is bonkers and the tip of the iceberg of hypocrisy and double standards that are being served up to us on a daily basis.

Walter Tull, the first black officer in the British army, to feature on £5 coin Tull, also one of Britain’s first black footballers, was killed in France in March 1918 after heroic war service. I can't see why John Leslie is having a statue for being a long-serving footballer for the Argyle really unless there is more to it. Tull, however, definitely, just before he was killed the Army were refusing to have (n word) as officers. Never been recognised for a military cross no-one can find out why.

Tull, also one of Britain’s first black footballers, was killed in France in March 1918 after heroic war service.

I can't see why John Leslie is having a statue for being a long-serving footballer for the Argyle really unless there is more to it.

Tull, however, definitely, just before he was killed the Army were refusing to have (n word) as officers.

Never been recognised for a military cross no-one can find out why.

Fair enough, a £5 coin? I didn't know they existed is it a souvenir type thing or one that will go into general circulation.

What proportion of these have a white mother ? The BBC would like you to believe it's 50% of these players. All nice and balanced and equitable.

It's difficult when the truth gets in the way of an idyllic equitable PC narrative.

Will they be making an anglo-oriental footballer statue ? What probability he has a white dad ? 80% ? 90% ?

Or would he be more likely to work the stock market than being a footballer ?
