Barry Hearn operating the canned applause is hilarious. Ronnie has had a tough draw. First number 20,then the UK Champion. In contrast, Hearn's mate Higgins had two qualifiers and still managed to lose. Maflin the dark horse but does not make the breaks of Trump, Ronnie or Robertson.

Basically all of the top players in Ronnie's part of the draw. Next up Mark Williams, tomorrow. McGill and Clarke had a bit of a barney.

You've got to love his interviews. It's so effortless for him, that he can't help but call a spade a spade. One of the few personalities in snooker, well sport in general really, today. Anyone struggling to sleep due to the heat put the snooker on Boom sorted. If that fails try F1

Turned pro at the age of 45 after having retired from the game for 17 years, nearly blind in one eye and phenomenal to watch. Never played a safety shot - where other players would lay a snooker he would attempt a table length double.

Probably the maddest two semi finals ever. Still can't get over what Ronnie did. Glad he's in the final as it's always more of a spectacle.

Both semi finals could have gone either way, mcgill and wilson final frame was unbelievable never seen such a frame in snooker before with mistakes, drama nerves, emotion, hope the final is not one sided, kyren Wilson I would love to see win.

I know he gets frustrated at times and rubs people up the wrong way, but snooker is lucky to have him. He's a level above.
