Bamford is talented but has no upper body strength or outstanding pace. Good championship player but out of his depth in the Premier league.

I know he was young but after us he had terrible spells with Norwich, Burnley and Boro too in Prem.

From what he stated back in 2015 in that article, he was frustrated sitting on the bench and wanted to be playing.. well Mr Bumfluff, from a supporters point of view and having to pay to watch you TRY and play was extremely frustrating.. this may be a little harsh but some of the games I saw you "play" it looked like you'd never played football before.. first touch, passing, shooting, everything on those occasions was very poor and that's a compliment.. came to us on loan with very high expectations because of being Championship Player of the Year having scored many goals for Middlesbrough, a fantastic achievement and accolade.. but with us, then Norwich and Burnley, if I'm correct, a total failure.. three Premiership clubs that gave him the chance at the highest level and he was a total disaster at all three clubs.. so I don't think it was any of the clubs fault, maybe Mr Bamford needs to look at himself and realise he wasn't good enough and isn't as good as he seems to think he is..
