We really should be focused on the restart. Not the first place I read this one, but are we really in for another Centre Back? Sakho could be on his way back to France if you believe reports similar to the one I have posted. Hopefully we have a younster coming through (Jay Rich- Baghuelou), because I cannot see us spending 50m on a CB. Edited by pstrutt (18 Jun 2020 9.23am)

I saw this the other day and was going to post but couldn't be bothered. If Sakho is going it makes sense however the article I read said that Leicester want him if that is true we stand no chance. We always seem to lose out against equivalent teams so as soon as I saw Leicester mentioned I thought this will never happen. Unless of course Sean Dyche is sending him on ahead for when he takes over next year (grasping at straws).

I saw the same post, I suspect, and my reaction was the same as yours except that given Leicester's recent history and their current position I would question his sanity if he chose us over the Foxes.

Aporopos Leicester they have the first choice combination of Evans and Soyuncu but Wes Morgan is now in his mid 30s.

Just the press starting something. We don't need another aging CB, and certainly not for $50mm. N. Fergerson is a good piece of business. Then look overseas (many clubs outside of the top division desperate for money), we will find some good deals. Many people don't have faith in Dougie, I think he's done alright with almost no budget.
