Although it’s totally driven by money I can sort of see some point to finish off what they started this season in order to settle the final finishing positions and relegation / promotion etc.

However there’s zero flippin point starting next season without the crowds and in an empty stadiums! If the Budesliga is anything to go by the football will be very sub standard and so will the spectacle! The results will feel totally synthetic almost like some virtual tournament being played out on FIFA 20 that none of us can feel or be a part of.

I agree with the Brighton fan. Also it's "funny" how the football powers that be can decide that the women's premier league had to end immediately, as did all men's leagues below the Championship. How is different treatment for men and women justifiable?

It’s not really a male / female issue, but rather one of money. Hence why all leagues that have no relationship with the men’s premier cash cow have been cancelled.

I think we’ll see for sports that are monetarily fairly gender equal (tennis and athletics spring to mind) we’ll see men’s and women’s restarting at the same time.
