I should imagine that they're in favour of it as long as the perpetrators (oops, sorry, their supporters) don't actually get caught which, given the shameful performance of the OB nationwide, is highly likely.

World War One and Two were mainly fought by the working class with the officer Class parked well back from danger. The munitions factories and coal faces did not see many Lords and Ladies working hard.

The upper class did their fair share of dying. WW2 was total war fought by the population as a whole whether you were a Bevan boy or a girl in a factory or a soldier on the front line.

Most working class now have jobs, mortgages, nice cars and go on foreign holidays. They are basically upwardly mobile and these days feel more connected to the Conservatives. Most labour voters I know are middle class who’s blonde haired daughters go on BLM marches even though they don’t actually know any black people.

Well that's a shock as it will be their support who fundamentally The guy who pissed on PC Palmer's memorial has handed himself in to Police. Having walked passed it every day I'd assume if he was very drunk it was unintentional as it's a knee height and difficult to notice. Still a scumming thing to do, but at least he's owned up to it and is now being punished. Also, Churchill was most likely homiphobic. Turin, was convicted of homosexual activity and put on hormone treatement whilst he was PM. Homosexual's are still persecuted on the way they were born, fairly openly all around the world. You're far more likely to hear homophobic abuse at a football match than racist abuse. Two EU member states have not yet banned all anti-gay discrimination. Yet all pride events were cancelled due to COVID19, and all pride events are focused on getting along with each other. I've never heard of a statue being taken down because someone was homophobic?
