He has a good chance of getting off as a second degree murder charge is harder to prove. They should have kept it at third in my view.

Following protests around the world? I seriously doubt it. One argument would be that charges against cops are sometimes placed as such a level that it's hard to convict. I'm not saying that he'll he found innocent, just that protests may well lead to charges but a jury will decide on conviction and in politically polarised times that isn't certain to go in the victim's favour. The ol' reverse OJ. The switcheroo. Let's not forget though, the gravity of George's crime. He caught the old bill's attention due to the unforgivable crime of using a FORGED NOTE! The writing was on the wall. What did he expect. If he'd opted for a school shooting instead and lightened up a bit he'd have stood a 50/50 chance at being led from the scene without a scratch on him as we all got to hear how misunderstood and frustrated he was with life. This has been a real wake up call for small time forgers /s
