I love a good long song.

For me I'd class any song which runs over the 7 minute mark as long. For some genres this would be quite normal I guess i.e classical, electronic, ambient.

But anyway here's a few of my faves which spring to mind and will always make me stop and listen...

Bright Eyes - Let's Not Sh*t Ourselves
[Link]

Bob Dylan - Hurricane
[Link]

Cymande - Dove
[Link]

Muse - Citizen Erased
[Link]

William Onyeabor - Good Name
[Link]

Songs: Ohia - Farewell Transmission
[Link]

It'd be good to hear some other suggestions? I've definitely got the time to listen these days!
Cheers.

American Pie
McArthur Park was long and seemed longer.
Dylan had a few - Like a Rolling Stone, Desolation Row, Lily Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts.

Don't think I'd ever listened to the full version of this. So good. YouTube algorithm then directed me onto this... [Link]

Was ‘Little Fluffy Clouds’ by The Orb a lovely song?’

I’d say it was more reminiscing rather than the singer singing words of love or messages to the receiver.

What a track though. The music of that era will never be rivalled, ever. Classic tune after tune after tune just kept coming out. Even kids now prefer it to today’s shyte.
