Just seen BT Sport are repeating the programme about Palace at 9pm tonight

Trivial fact - Palace used to win 5-1 at least once a season, maybe next season?

I still had it saved on my box from first time around in October, I’ve watched it 3 times, I went to watch it for the 4th time last week, but forgot I’d binned BT for obvious reasons and it wouldn’t let me view it

Watched most of this again last night. Before my era but great to learn about some of the legends. Kenny Sampson looked class.

John Burridge is hilarious, what a character. Just looked him up on Wikipedia and can’t beleive how many clubs he’s played for, surely a record?

Watched it?

Lived it from that promotion season and that fateful night packed to the rafters against Burnley, to getting the players to sign my copy of "there and back again' in the club shop in Allders. Then a couple of roller-coaster seasons before in true Palace style it all went t**s up.

Kenny Sansom was indeed class, rates very high on list of greatest players I have seen play for us

as a younster Sansom was awesome, used to dribble to the half way line, had the attacking flair of a first choice winger, he became a bit less flashy and concentrated more on defence once he was out of his teens, i preferred him when he was more adventurous - remember watching a 1-1 at home to west ham in '78 and he was unplayable, all the alf garnetts around me saying he was the best left back they'd seen for 25 years, all looking at their programmes to clock the name
