What are we all watching or reading or doing to make it through this sitting around on our arses?

Tonight on the glorious Talking Pictures (81 on Freeview) is a classic B&W film from 1963. 'This Sporting Life'.

Set around the trials and tribulations of a Rugby League player and starring Richard Harris. An absolute delight and in my opinion the greatest Sports themed film ever made and I write that as somebody who cannot stand Rugby.

Just broached 'The Fall of the Roman Empire' by Peter Heather and am over-dosing on a variety of Stoic themed talks and lectures on You Tube.

I'm going to open a Netflix account and watch 'Peterloo' - and what's the film with is it Leonardo di Caprio about invading people's dreams to find out secrets - it's got an 'I' in it? Inception?

Just watched once upon a time in west, I love the last 15 mins, Henry Fonda and Charles Bronson, if you haven't seen it its on you tube. Classic.

Greetings from Ground Zero of COVID-19 in the USA. I live in Jackson Heights, Queens, New York City, four blocks from the hottest spot in the COVID-19 USA universe, Elmhurst General Hospital. I've just returned from scouting the testing line there and it already has several hundred people lined up. By mid day, there will be thousands. You there across the pond may have seen that on your tellys.

The community I live in is bounded by Elmhurst, Woodside, Astoria, East Elmhurst, LaGuardia Airport and (wait for it) Corona. That's right, we've had Corona right here all the time!

As one might expect, I am not sheltering in place. That would mean I couldn't be posting this as I would be in a closet waiting for the all clear from an impending nuclear attack. Thank you, Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York, for defining that bit of nonsense. What I'm doing is staying indoors as much as possible and watching Palace videos on either Holmesdale.net, cpfc.co.uk or YouTube. When I do go out, the Masked Avenger emerges. See attached photo. For my money, Governor Cuomo is the rock star of COVID-19 USA. Our chicken little and incompetent scare mongering Mayor, Bill DeBlasio, has been virtually banished from our media, having to make do with recorded appearances. As for DC, Big Chief Bone Spurs the Total Fraud is universally despised in the city of his birth. They'd burn him in effigy here but that would be a total waste of effigy. Don't bother Trumpers, your blandishments will be totally ignored here at COVID-19 USA Central.

Too bad I can't change my user name as it would now be NYChauvinist. We Big Applers have gone through major terrorist attacks, super storms and now this in the space of 20 years. We will survive and prosper, especially we NYEagles, for we have the Mighty Crystal Palace of SE25 to sustain us.
