cue all the usual platitudes from all the usual Media talking-heads. And otherwise no change to all the policies that aid and abet terror. What has gone wrong, in the World, to motivate such horror ? I saw this story on the BBC website. It told me not to jump to any conclusions about it. I immediately jumped to the conclusion that it must be an Islamic terrorist attack.

is there a 99% chance they will tell us the car driver had Mental Health problems ? the attempt to forgive the unforgivable is getting a bit tired and hackneyed at this stage.

Read this It appears to say someone high on drugs and drink looking for notoriety Sadly it doesn’t play into the HOL zeitgeist. So people can allow the veins on their foreheads to recede for a while

Do you not think it is likely that anyone who is capable of doing something like this must be suffering from some kind of mental health problem? Whatever their motivation, be that religious hatred, drug and/or alcohol abuse or anything else. To understand that is not to excuse it.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

The apologist angle of a 'mental health problem' makes me smile. It's deconstruction to avoid categorization......Something they never seem to bother with as an excuse when it comes to attacking the groups they personally disapprove of. Of course, at a categorisation level it's a matter of philosophy. You could regard most crime committed as a form of mental illness. Were the bombers who carpet bombed cities mentally ill?
