What will this mean for European qualification from the PL next season, assuming Citeh finish in the top 4? Will England lose a team from the CL next season, or will the 4th CL place go to the team finishing 5th? And what about the League Cup? Presumably Villa would still have to win the final to be allowed in the Europa. Nobody seems to have mentioned anything about this yet, but I suspect if Sheffield United finish 5th they won’t be allowed into the CL, but if Man U are 5th they’ll be welcomed in with open arms.

They'll appeal, bung uefa a few million of the sheikhs petrol $'s (in a brown envelope), and get it overturned. Like all the rich clubs, going back to Liverpool nicking our 3rd place Europe spot*. *Still seething!!!

I guess the Premier League will have to investigate too.

Sure they will be let in ...Leicester were when they won the league . Anyway probably be months of appeals with the ban getting suspended for at least a season.

Wonderful news. A rare great day for football. City and Chelsea are the epitome of everything that is wrong with football. I hope all their big stars leave and they sink back to what they really are, a bottom half Prem/Championship club.

Wonder if they'd get a title stripped if any of it related to last season. That would be hilarious with the scousers too.

Relegate them to league 1 and deduct them 10 points . They have cheated their way to the top and made a mockery of the fair play rules which have often been quoted in the past as the reason for our non spending . They have inflated the transfer fees for players and wages costing smaller clubs a fortune in attempt to just stay in sight never mind catch up . Their cheating has made every other club the poorer and I really hope the premier league has the balls to take action . I would go as far to say that every club should refuse to play them if the league doesn't take action . Fecking CHEATS !

Saracens are the top club and the richest, they flouted the financial rules, got fined and relegated to the league below. Which will mean their top players will leave.
