I just cant understand that over the past few window, WE have pretty much spent nothing on new players, I know Roy is doing a fantastic job with the resources available to him, And on the same front Freedman is doing all he can, But I am sure he has been targeted only with finding loan players or players out of contract. Has the club been that mismanaged that over the past few years we are unable to sign any players? Surely that cant be the case with such a small squad?

We have an ageing squad with an average age of about 29 years, I just wish our leader would make some form of statement to at least give us an indication of why the lack of signings. I should imagine again this season Freedman with his shrewd loan deals and Roy with his trick of keeping us up will cloud the fact that the club has major mis-management problem, This season we have had the chance to become a mid table team, And that slowly seems to be slipping away, Surely with our injuries, Signings should of been a priority,

Sorry about the rant, But I am a frustrated supporter

There is some money and there's still a spare loan spot.
So far ,there's been very little movement anywhere. It's a waiting game till Friday when best prices and 'domino' moves kick in (or not).

We are bleeding money. 30th on the Deloitte European rich club list but 20th on the highest spenders on wages. It’s the deals of Benteke, Sakho and the huge wages they and some of the others in the squad are on that are holding us back.

Honestly we need to shift those guys and use the Wilf money sensibly when he inevitably goes in the summer. No more 100k+ a week signings unless we have the infrastructure in place to do that sustainably. Which at the moment we obviously don’t.

This is exactly why I was baffled when they gave Benteke a new contract. Yes we lose out on a selling fee but come on his record is so poor we won't get much and his high wages mean he'll just see out his contract again. It is such bad business and was obvious. Sakho is similar, he's rarely fit and clubs know that. Both are aging so values come down. I just don't get our thinking. I know the we come out and say we're not a selling club but you can't just let players run contracts down and leave for nothing all the time. How many players have we sold for actual money? Bolasie and AWB but that's about it.

Luckily DF has contacts in the lower tiers of Scottish football ( where Hamilton will be soon ).

Mc Poundland, what's not to like

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Unless we can sell or loan out a couple of players and free up some money, I can't see us bringing any other senior players in.

Roy has indicated as such that returning players from injury are as good as new signings.
Don't hold your breath for new signings, other than frees or loan signings, probably, on the instructions of our American owners.
