Dear me.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.
Suffice to say there would have been an emotional outburst containing bouts of profanity had I suffered a similar fate.

Ha! that's nowt stirling.
I booked a string of private dental appointments.
(4 bloody fillings & hygienist)
1st ok on a Thursday, the rest were Tuesdays but for some reason had em down all thurs.
So I turn up Thursday & they say,
its was 2 days ago.
cost me £140 quid for a walk down the road.

Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.

For a moment I turned the air blue and everything around me. God knows what the neighbours thought.

I had my car's first service last month and that cost me £360 for oil and filter change and a check over

Surely the RAC could have jumped it and let you buy your own battery? Norman Tebbit would have got you on a bike.

They do feck all in services these days - as you found out. Long and short of it - learn basic mechanics. Everything is online with videos.

Depends on your intentions for the car. If you want to sell it in future and keep its book price value then FSH full service history is good to have, especially a premium car serviced at the dealership. Otherwise I’d find a mechanic who works from home with knowledge of a whole garage of rip off merchants to the power of 10.
