A fantastic result for us last season, but very difficult to believe we could get anymore than a 1-1 draw this time around, given our injuries. But who knows??

Unfortunately I think we'll start this game how we started the Arsenal game, sitting back and trying to absorb pressure, and City will score one or two. Although they have been disappointing this season, they're not as fragile as Arsenal, so when we do finally step up our game and get at them, I don't think we'll be able to change the result.

Spot on. I see a comfortable afternoon ahead for them but don't think we will take a mauling, 2-0.

We are playing them at the wrong time. They are bang in form. I know we are though to beat but it we only concede 2 I’d be amazed

We are hard to break down when we get stuck in, so lets hope we get stuck in quickly and Zaha actually gets his arse into their penalty box for Cenk to have a sniff at them and make them think about attacking us in numbers, very very hard to imagine what will happen as they obviously do not want a repeat of last time.

Lightning is unlikely to strike twice, but I am hoping we can make it difficult for them, as to be fair, we did when they came to us, apart from that crazy two minutes when things could so easily have turned out differently. My head says we will probably lose (2-0) but a draw isn't beyond us if Wilf can keep them honest with some good early runs.
Also I do hope we get a referee who will be quick to jump on City's many little fouls that can be difficult to spot in real time.

I think we'll defend better than Villa did but if we can keep it down to 2-0 or 3-1 I'll be happy.

We have a reasonable record against City, not exactly their bogey team but not bad at all. I well remember the 0-0 draw at Selhurst when we had a depleted team and missed a pen in the last minutes.

Not having Andros is a big minus for this game.

My head says a loss but not a hammering, my heart says if we roll five sixes we can get something.

A good performance and not a spanking, and I'll be happy.

The pressure is kind of off City now as Liverpool's lead seems insurmountable and they look very relaxed. If we start like we did against Arsenal we could be out of it within 20 minutes. I don't generally like to advocate a rough approach, but I think we need to get into them from the start and use their own tactic of tactical fouls to break up play. We will probably get a few chances as they are very cavalier with their approach to defending, but I can't see us getting anything from this. 3-1 to City.

If Meyer is out injured which I think he will be then I hope Roy goes with a front 3 of Zaha Tosun Ayew to try and cause the City defence problems and restrict them from playing out from the back as they are prone to giving it away. Tosun and Ayew will happily try and press them back.

This is one of those games where if we lose then so be it just as long as it is not a tonking and we try and attack as much as we can/allowed to.

It's difficult to imagine anything other than a defeat.

I shall be happy with conceding two goals or fewer, just to keep the goal difference respectable.

Whatever happens, we'll more than likely to remain comfortably mid-table.
