Approximately 12.9% of the UK is covered in trees. About a third of the European average. This is not a good thing We complain about Brazil chopping down the jungle but we have no wildwood left and our woods and forests are not re-growing. We have also cut down the best trees historically, so we kept trees dysgenically. We are left with those that are least desirable. We have a series of nasty diseases and pests endangering those that are left. [Link] The Government wants us to plant 11 million trees. So what are you waiting for... That's right. They're disappearing at a rate of knots. There used to be loads around but I can't remember the last I saw a Public Lavver Tree.

As a matter of interest, dogs peeing on trees is very bad for them. The urine is pretty strong and filters down the tree getting into the roots. And the Ammonium damages the cambium

The Home Counties are full of new housing estates being thrown up that were a couple of years ago, countryside.

If you want an open door immigration policy then expect lots of concrete because everyone has to be housed.

Bloody immigrants, coming over here and buying our £250'000, 2 bedroom townhouses in Camberley with a 5 minute walk to town and easy access to public transport to London Waterloo...they should be moving to Syria, where they can go fight in a civil war...or something... There will be no countryside left to plant trees in soon at the current rate of immigration.
