I don’t recall saying any of the above. I deeply object to the means of production and management of security and bio security being taken out of local control. I also hate that housing stock is taken out of the system by foreign investors who benefit greatly from tax advantages. And then don’t contribute to the economy.

It is being invested in. From where do you glean that information? Advent is simply a buy-out player. It is probably taking advantage of current low values in the UK market on an arbitrage basis. It will sell on fairly quickly, probably through dis-aggregating the group. A classic PE house so certainly not into making long term investments. Very much like Harris (for whom I used to work) and Blitzer.
