It's the warm up game before the first test match and England have put out a most unusual side

Rory Burns
Dominic Sibley
Joe Denly
Joe Root(c)
Ollie Pope
Jos Buttler(wk)
Jonny Bairstow
Zak Crawley
Sam Curran
Chris Woakes
Jack Leach

8 batsmen plus 2 all rounders and only 2 seamers

This is most bizarre. All I can assume is that they are using the match for batting practice only. Perhaps they'll bat the whole match and go for 600+ to build confidence?

But it was the bowlers who underperformed in New Zealand, especially Jofra Archer who isn't even playing

England are set to spend Wednesday in the field and will hope that pace bowlers Stuart Broad and Jofra Archer are able to take part after both being affected by illness.

James Anderson will bowl for England for the first time since the opening Test of the Ashes in August after recovering from a calf problem.

It looks like Zak Crawley having batted this morning has dropped out of the 11 and been replaced by Jimmy Anderson

Over the last couple of months I have been betting on one outcome - selling Jeet Raval runs against both England and Australia. Won every time. With the start of the South Africa series I will be adding the sell Dom Sibley bets as Philander and Rabada will have a field day with his technique on or outside off stump.

Merry Christmas folks. Anyone got a working stream for this? Had a decent one which has just cut out. Thank you.

Disappointed Raval was dropped by New Zealand, but unders on both Sibley and Burns and Markham plus 2/1 on England under 275 was a gift. Bets all going rather well more than I can say for England's fortunes.

Yet another batting - all too predictable.

Well not sure about winning the toss and not batting, why we bowled in the areas we did - fortunately South Africa aren't much good either.

Cant believe how many Brighton fans follow cricket!

Went on North Stand Chat and all everyone is talking about is getting De Kock out.

Always wondered if North stand chat was a sub menu on Grinder.

South Africa now 335 runs ahead with 2 wickets remaining.
Another certain defeat for England with a pitiful score in their second innings.
