My major regret so far in 2019 is not attending the Lords" Taverners Xmas lunch to throw s*** at that virtue signalling twot, what really hurts is how much of his income is derived from the BBC licence fee.

Abolish the licence fee

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Normally Comics who attack Brexit and the Tories get a warm reception, well his reception was a little warmer than he probably expected.

Fair play to him he didn't flounce off more like had to be shoved off the stage.

For the record I have never seen or heard of this guy so no idea what he's like but at least he stood his ground.

I saw an old episode of Mock the Week where he said/sang "white people" to nearly every news item or subject they were discussing. It was very tedious and unfunny.
But by the BBC's standards, it was very PC and perfectly acceptable!

It's rare occurrence these days of what happens when the left are not entirely in control of the narrative and the optics.

I've noticed a very disturbing ramping up of the control around narrative e.g. I believe now the audiences and guests in mainstream/legacy media on any show are completely designed and engineered to support the only acceptable narrative (which is the sliver that's now become of the Overton window).

A good example of this is I'm no longer able to get through at all with a question on LBC (they now ask you why you are asking a question or making a point, rather than just asking what you want to say - and they will ban you if you try to lie).

In comparison, if I try and call Talksport I can frequently get on air without a problem although they have a higher number of listeners and fewer call in programs.

It's especially true when over 70% of people in this country want less immigration, many people think it;s at the heart of most of our problems (lack of resources, crime, terrorism and social problems) and the mass media simply don't want to talk about it. I think it's mainly because they are cowards.

True and it was an unpaid charity gig. It's definitely partly his fault for not being able to gauge the crowd though - which as a comedian he should've had a handle on. They are partly responsible too for asking him in the first place. His act is his act. If you book Roy Chubby Brown, you get Roy Chubby Brown. If you book Nish Kumar, you get Nish Kumar.

This guy is a good representation of the gulf that's opening up......or in his case the sub continent.

All true. Nish Kumar actually has a very sharp wit and is able to see, and take the p*ss out of, many aspects of today's political scene. He identifies quite how ridiculous it has become.

If you have not watched the Mash Report I thoroughly recommend it.

I do not. Very BBC safe unfunny box ticking.

That said he described the chancellor of the exchequer as every Asian kids least favourite uncle. The kind who gives you a maths text book for xmas. That made me laugh

I bet Richard Pryor is spinning in his grave.
Probably just on account of Kumar calling himself a comedian.
