Plaudits to sports science lecturer Stuart Carrington who explores these and other questions in his newly-published, paperback entitled Blowing The Whistle - The Psychology of Football Refereeing. It's good stuff and touches on many of the controversies that crop up again and again in Holmesdale Online message board threads.
