Just came across it recently while on youtube. Anyone else watch it/ seen it before? Any fans and any other pretty obscure comedy shows from the past I might be missing out on?

Have been a massive, massive fan of this show since it came out.

Never really sure why it didn't get the fame of something like the Fast Show or Little Britain as it is far funnier than either of them.

That said, Spaced which Simon Pegg also created was even funnier, a true one of a kind.

My personal best bits:

A lot of the cast and crew went on to make Jam with Chris Morris (who also was involved in Big Train). I personally love it but it's very dark and very weird.

Used to love the staring competitions where absolutely nothing happened, but the commentators were going mad with excitement. Might even have been Barry Davies, iirc?

It was Barry Davies. The clever thing, and what made it so funny, was that Barry did the commentary dead pan and in earnest in the same he would have commentated on a game on Match of the Day.

Found a whole bunch of them on YouTube. Absolutely brilliant.

I wouldn't agree with Barry Davis that it was a "classic" - a bit too one sided for that.
