I've seen photos of the firefighters from that night they looked a pretty multicultural group. Unless she has any hard evidence I don't think her comments are helpful and just play to the narrative that certain elements want to portray. Politicians who whilst the building was burning were blaming austerity and the Tories and disputing the number of victims. There is a enquiry and unless Doreen has any evidence of racism by the fire brigade or bias by the enquiry she is better off letting the judge get on with it.

It's about time one of these curnts was sued for libel. It might stop their likes from spouting this sort of bollox all the time. There's no basis for these accusations whatsoever. Some people can say what they like without fear of reprisal. People like her incite the sort of racial hatred that contributes to the killing of peoples sons.

Not as unpleasant as her saying that the fire brigade took it easy because the tower was full of non white people. Is she helping race relations or hindering them coming out with cr@p like that. You throw around the R word you had better have an excellent argument with excellent evidence. Otherwise people will think YOU are the one with the prejudice. As I said, only some people can say what they like. Losing a son in the circumstances she did can warp a persons thinking to some extent I'd say. It's an unfortunate comment because you'll struggle to find a more courageous group of people than firefighters. Certainly we could make a case that safety legislation in this and other towers was lacking and an attack on the poor in a sense... but with these fire fighters the very last thing they were thinking about while saving lives was skin colour.
