Club statement on Wilf and racist messages

What exactly has the Club done, what action has been taken?
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

The best thing Wilf can do is stay OFF instagram and not give these idiots the time of day.
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

This isn't a case of rich, spoiled Premier League Footballer getting abuse on social media for being out of form or putting in a transfer request. In that case yes I agree, most famous people should delete Insta and grow up, you're a millionaire, go and enjoy the World. This however, is like saying "black people shouldn't go on Insta because of racists". Where do you draw the line? Oh if they don't like hearing racist comments maybe they should go on their own buses too and stick to their own. I'm not liberal by the way, far from it. I think it's disgusting tarring Bernardo Silva a racist with the same brush used for actual racists. I just think we cannot give a message to the Victims of racism, sexism, homophobic attacks they should alter their own lives and take action, rather than taking action against the bigots.

That is NOT what I said and it applies to all the people who want to use this sort of media not only black people. It is in my opinion stupid to live your life on the internet and not expect a keyboard warrior to throw insults at you. Poor old Wilf has had this happen to him before and I would have thought he would have learnt a lesson but obviously he has not. But that is his choice.

I agree with the barnodo bit but I posted way back on a thread somewhere about racism that there are no levels.
