I used to drink a lot of beer in my younger days but I hardly drink any nowadays. I do drink more than my share of vino though but it tends to be at the cheaper end of the scale. Unlike the supposed rules of what colour wine you drink with what I tend to drink white wine in the warmer months switching to red in the cold months. Sainsbury have a half reasonable Pinot Grigot at £7.50 a bottle but at the moment they are giving a 25% discount if you buy 6 or more bottles so I'm stocking up

It's surprisingly palatable. I've got a couple of them in the fridge as we speak.

At lunch today I tried out four beers from Fourpure. Didn't try the stout, the pils was good, easy peeler not* and the two IPAs were very good. *others enjoyed it but I'm not keen on citrus beer.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |
