Perhaps Yannick could have a quick chat with Wilf. It would be a shame for him to repeat his earlier experience at Man U.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

I was surprised Everton did not ask for their money back under the Trades Descriptions Act.

Wouldn't surprise if air-head money-bags Zaha went the same way.

If my memory serves me well, Everton, whilst Koeman was manager, paid £22.5 Mill rising to £28 Mill for add-ons.
He played 29 games for them scoring twice.

Don't think he has provided value for money for them but he was out for a long time through injury.

Thank you for amending my comments.

With the greatest of respect I never referred to Google before posting and still haven't to confirm whether the figures I posted were accurate. As I mentioned, I was relying on my memory.

Club overpaid
Player lost form
Player got a serious injury
New Manager gets appointed
Manager doesn't rate player
Player gets loaned out
Player returns and blames everyone but himself

Could happen anywhere.

He had a similar injury to Wickham. Look at Wickham now although he never reached Bolasie’s heights pre injury. If he has recovered properly which is possible but unlikely our coaching team will know. If he has, coming back may just give him the inspiration to perform.

I have just read that Bolasie has gone on loan to Sporting Lisbon.

I do remember a time when there was a debate on here about whether Bolasie or Zaha was the better player. I guess this must have been around 2014/2015. In fact there was a shortish period when the consensus seemed to be moving toward Yannick being superior to Wilf whom, lest we forget, did have some off periods.
