Unchanged from United but I think that's a bad line-up for a home game against Villa. No Townsend, no Meyer... We've got a lot of very functional midfielders in there.

I wonder how that shapes up.

I consider Kouyate as a bit of a donkey along with Bambi legs. I would replace him with Meyer. I hope Roy looks at Luca today and realises his standards have dropped; please prove me wrong.

Fair lineup.
I think it's a message too, I think Roy said it in the press conference after the midweek game.
Who won at Old Trafford on Saturday played a great game, who lost at home to a div. 2 team was awful, and so those first eleven play.
Fair enough.

Same old Roy

If we don't beat these today he needs to go it shows he doesn't know how to play against teams we should be beating.

The right line-up for me. Wilf will get more license to roam I imagine and Schlupp can push on too. Strong bench if Roy wants to change things after 81 minutes, as well. This might not be pretty, but I think the players earned the right to keep their places.

Depends on your definition of 'functional'
The least of these is Milivojevic, he has played poorly in the first 3 games and come dangerously close to being red carded with his cynical and late tackling. At this rate he will soon get an enforced 'rest'. At least Ayew seems a competent penalty taker in his place.

I’m also looking at the bench to win this but earlier than 81 mins ffs.
