Not going to lie I think they have had a very good window.. Maupay and Mooy especially, however they needed to have as they were in free fall from January last year...

I ask purely because I’ve just had a read on there site (I’m not one of those that posts)... Hand on heart and I read a lot of opposition teams fans forums they really are so deluded.. I’ve never met such a self righteous bunch of supporters who believe they’re perfect... They are so excited about VAR being in as they believe Wilf will be ‘found out’....

I mean over 300 pages on Zaha they have!... f***ing mental!!. And they make out they hate him so much yet how many of them wouldn’t want him in there team??!!

I think any palace fan that watches regularly will actually say that I’m looking forward to VAR as Wilf actually doesn’t get as many penalties as he should!!

One of their fans to be fair nailed it in my opinion. He sai ‘They Have a very good proven manager.. We have someone totally untested’..

So have they had a far better window than us??

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Mate I do agree.. no right back or striker signed is just ridiculous but it will be interesting to see how they get on... They seem to think that Europe beckons... This Potter bloke is a massive gamble for them!

Brighton have got, or ever have had, any players earning anywhere near 100k a week

We have a few and we have had players like cabaye in the past

Brighton haven’t had that huge hit in Their coffers have they?

Yep, i think they've bought well and in Graham Potter have an up and coming manager who i'd be watching carefully. I think they suit each other...which can take a club far.

They escaped injuries to key players last year and have kept hold of Dunk, so I'm not one of these that think they'll go down..in fact I think they'll finish in the top 14.

We should still (on paper) finish above them, even with or without Wilf.

Re VAR and Wilf ...I also agree that he'll get more penalties as a result and tackles on him that were simply waved away last season will result in more cards so Watford especially will need to be wary.

They have spent around £60 Mill, we have spent around £7 Mill. They have brought in a striker, central defenders, a winger and a midfielder.
In answer to the question - time will tell but it looks as though they have done good business.

They have a very capable Technical Director, Dan Ashworth, and it was a real coup for Brighton to get him after his sterling work with the youth at the FA.He joined Brighton in February this year.

Better window but not necessarily a better squad. Overall there's a lot more creativity in our team - shame we don't have the striker to make the most of it.

In terms of their main strikers last season, Murray scored 15 goals,Andone 5 and Locadia 4. They went out and signed Maupay to bolster their strikeforce.

Our 3 main strikers scored the grand total of 4 goals between them last and we haven't strengthened in this area.
Ward first choice right back and no additions up front - well done !!!!
