Do we need three keepers?

I feel Freedman would be a more effective forward than a scout and his playing days are over.

Sometimes loyalty needs to be put to one side and business needs to come first. I am sure as an established premier league club we can attract better scouts than this.

He was a fantastic player, and a very shrewd signing as a player, but sadly just because he was a good signing does not mean that he has the ability to find the same.

I hope to be proved wrong but sadly doubt it.

looks a little like Julian. Hard to understand when we have two first team keepers - with South American in on loan, and two academy keepers out on loan. Do Douggie's duties include "kissing frogs"? COYP

The South American wasn't signed at the end of his loan. So effectively we need someone to replace him. But I'd agree there are far more important positions to consider.

Apparently we wanted to pay less than what was originally agreed (we offered 2.5 million having allegedly agreed 4million) dont know how accurate this is.

The problem with this is not that we are looking to sign another GK, but that there are limited signs that we are trying to address more important areas. If we have limited funds then surely we should get a new right back, winger, striker, and ideally a creative midfielder in before we start spending money on a GK?
