Oh dear.

Cue the catchphrases:

1 - They all do it
2 - This is an unfair politically motivated charge
3 - Channel 4 are totally biased and have it in for poor Nigel, rather than just reporting on the serious misdeeds of someone in public office
4 - Hillary Clinton is involved somehow
5 - Barack Obama did far worse

What other ones are there?

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

BORING!

Because the EP wouldn't want to use dirty tricks or anything.

Farage won't lose any credibility from his supporters through this, and it wont damage his reputation anymore in the eyes of people who cant stand him.

If anything he'll spin it as an example of how easy it is for an MEP to break the rules for decades.

I wish the EU did something positive to try and make the UK want to be a member of it. In stead it just seems to go around trying to smeer those who criticise it.

It's a very negative approach, that doesn't win over voters.

Exactly. You just don't hear the positive case for staying in the EU. I don't doubt that Farage has broken the rules but then his job is to force Brexit through. If that ever happens I think he will go back to being a media pundit. I certainly would not buy a second hand car from him but then I wouldn't trust any of the other EU leaders either.

No more needed; your point no. 3 covers it.

A mate of mine is Aaron Banks's driver, and has driven Farage many times.

Needless to say, with what I have heard about Mr Banks, I don't think I would be able to put up with him. Haven't really heard too much about Farage, but when I play golf with my mate at the weekend I will ask.

I bet he's quaking in his boots now that he's broken EU rules. Non story that will make him more popular amongst his supporters.

All the above appear to be pretty much undisputed by the way.

It's like criticizing someone for using the argument that they have black friends as proof of not being racist. It actually is but you think calling it out first in some kind of preemptive strike proves otherwise.
