Not sure why we would be interested in him and doubt this is true. High wages, 31, 8M, wasn't any good at Liverpool and I'd rather have Wayne as number 2 than him

I am happy with our number 1 so unless he wants to leave I think we are good. However if we are in the market for a goalkeeper Heaton wants to move and only has a year left on his contract.

From today's Evening Standard website transfer rumours: "But, while [Liverpool] club chiefs are reluctant to publicly place a value on an asset they aren’t keen to sell, it is known that the £8million bid Crystal Palace are believed to be preparing would not be sufficient to bring them to the table."
