It is being reported today that Police have released pictures of 14 Palace fans, all dressed in black, that they want to talk to regarding trouble before the Palace v Weed game.

They allegedly threw fireworks and after Police aprehended one of them the group then charged and attacked the police so that the fan would be released.

A fellow fan told me a month ago that the club were aware of the incident and which fan group these boys/men belong to.

Assuming this is true? Perhaps the police might have better luck if they released any CCTV footage.

I have seen this a lot lately the police release CCTV of a person they wish to talk to and it turns out they have had the footage for months. Why the delay?

If there are images I would imagine these people will be identified within days.

I think the delay is because Police like to build up a case first and probably have to go through the legal formalities before releasing pictures.
I saw the link at the bottom of the Hol home page and the mugshots are quite clear.

I can't find it, do you still have the link?

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Sorry, I'm posting from a basic Nokia so I can't do that.
I think it was an Evening Standard article if that helps.

I think i was actually on the steps of the holmesdale for this, if it is the same incident, so have my own view

From what I saw people were singing palace chants and yes had let off a smoke bomb, but it all honestly seemed good natured until the police came charging into them!

When you look at the amount of pyros and flares by Liverpool fans in their victory parade or before big champions League games it's celebrated by the media, as always the big clubs get away with it but clubs like us get punished

The police really caused this and in my opinion it was really unecessary

Aggressive and intimidating? That old chestnut... were they talking about themselves or the lads protection of thier own from probably being wrongly arrested which happens in so many of these cases...

The only flares that should be illegal are the ones United fans still wear.

Those being sought look remarkably similar, uniform-wise, to the group that charged the turnstiles at Brighton in November 2017, injuring one of our own stewards, before throwing fireworks and flares around in the stand and intimidating Palace supporters into moving so they could assemble where they wanted. But, of course, it's never their fault, it's always someone else's

I wasn't at Brighton away so can't comment on that but having read the freedom of information work that the five year plan fanzine did which exposed police lies, I know whose side im taking in this incident, especially having witnessed it!
