I saw them at the Music Machine in Camden - early 80’s. An interesting night which descended into huge amounts of violence.

I’m listening to John Prine’s first album. Bit of a step change there.

I loved the Music Machine, I remember Japan had a weekly residency there in 1978, free to get in before 10.30.

Yes, originally the Camden Palace. It’s still going under the name Koko. It could be an intimidating place when full of rampaging skinheads but they probably weren’t at many Japan gigs.
