Just watched this video from StudioBrule and it's truly terrifying.

I use to think that STEM was safe from this cancer.

Perhaps we are entering an era where you're going to have to start checking out which company made what safety critical entity you use and what their 'ideological' priorities are.

When I did archaeology years ago as part of my degree, I had to do a module on LGBT archaeology. So nothing is safe from this. Be careful not to gender those bones.

That made me titter, Peffers. Thank you.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

That was Pompeii, not Greece.

Can't help noticing that at any mention of homosexuality and Ancient Greece, Cucking turns up.
Presume you are reading on this subject for your masters?

top work by Pefwin.

I started an automotive design degree at Coventry in 1989. Thatcher was killing student grants, introducing the Poll Tax and introduced 'Care in the Community' for the mentally ill. AND Coventry was the first city to ban drinking in the streets.

Notwithstanding, we had 3 females on a course of 60. Which I thought was a really good effort. One of the girls was even sponsored by Jaguar (her employer)

There are certainly a lot more diversification in the top jobs. Less nepotism and more ability-based.

Still get the odd idiot promoted to minimise damage

Entirely coincidental, I assure you.

Anyway, whilst the Pompeiians (and by extension, the Romans) certainly weren't averse to a spot of back door action, it was very much a 'thing' in ancient Athenian society, too. This is why there's so much mirth around Eurovision time about 'the Greek entry'.
