Slightly weird that an image of Max is included in the promo. Yes, he's a German; we get that, CPFC, but he's no links with the oppo as far as I'm aware (although Willo will now correct me, no doubt!)

Why not celebrate German football by highlighting we have a German player whilst playing German opposition? It's just a marketing hook ... nothing more / nothing less!

poor from the club. normally, moaning about how slowly & badly we organise pre-season matches is a summer staple. we'd better not go and buy brilliant young players at low expense or there'll be uproar
